Since the day I taught myself html and started hand coding sites as a hobby in 1996 I have always had a passion for writing, developing, and marketing niche web properties with focused monetization strategies. I consult companies on how to build and sustain long term web initiatives focused on creating quality, well positioned content and websites that both provide value for users while staying in line with their business goals.
Presently I serve as Associate Director of SEO at TBWA\Chiat\Day where I work with companies such as Nike, Hewlett Packard and Vonage to develop and implement best practice organic search engine optimization strategies. Previously I served as SEO Strategist at Agency.com and Product Manager and resident SEO expert at Hostway, a leading Web Hosting and Domain Name Registrar who provides web hosting services from everyone from Coca-Cola to Wikipedia in addition to hundreds of thousands of SMB clients.

I was born and raised and presently reside in the Chicagoland area with my wife Jen and our son Evan. In my spare time I am an avid ice hockey player, downhill skier and music & documentary enthusiast as well as an internet fanatic. I am an alumni of Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI where I received a B.A. in Marketing/Advertising.
